"I wasn't getting any answers with my GP and decided to get a second opinion with a naturopath... I'm so glad I did. I felt heard and I knew I was in great hands from the very first appointment..."

At The Biome Collective - we understand

Because when you've been told that no one knows why you've had IBS for years...

And that you've had a colonoscopy and were told "everything looks normal, it's just IBS"...

But 'just IBS' is getting in the way of you actually living your life, going out for dinner with friends or simply being able to leave the house without having mapped out every toilet first...

You know something else is going on, but instead of finding answers, you've been met with dismissal and told you'll just have to live with it.

At The Biome Collective, we want you to know one thing -

There's always an answer to your IBS symptoms.

Why hundreds of people trust The Biome Collective

The Biome Collective isn't just another clinic. It was founded by Laura Taylor, a naturopath who has done extensive training in digestive disorders and microbiome imbalances, and has helped hundreds of people untangle their complex digestive concerns and find answers to the question: what's causing my IBS?

The naturopaths and nutritionists at The Biome Collective use evidence-based testing and treatment approaches to restore balance to the gut and resolve IBS symptoms once and for all.

This means the people who come to The Biome Collective aren't relying on trial and error. They're accessing:

  • Practitioners with extensive training in the gut microbiome and digestive conditions

  • Personalised support with regular reviews and adjustments to ensure you are moving steadily toward healing from IBS

  • A structured, evidence-informed framework that gets real results

We often hear from the people we work with...

"This is the first time I've felt like there might actually be a way to heal my IBS."

For many, it's the first time they've felt hope in years. We want this for you too.

How it all began...

Laura spent more than a decade searching for answers for her own health concerns. Chronic constipation and iron deficiency had been part of her life for as long as she could remember.

Despite seeing multiple practitioners and trying every diet and supplement that promised relief, nothing changed.

But the real heartbreak came later.

After experiencing six miscarriages across two years, each one more devastating than the last, Laura was left with nothing but questions and a sinking feeling that something important was being missed.

Years into her search, it was by pure chance that she finally found the answer to the health issues that had haunted her for years.

She learned she had adenomyosis.

Suddenly, everything made sense. The constipation. The iron deficiency. The miscarriages. Adenomyosis was driving it all.

From heartbreak to purpose

As the shock faded, something else took its place: a fierce determination that no one else should endure the confusion, dismissal or isolation she had.

Laura knew firsthand how it felt to be told there was no answer for what was going on in her body -- and the life-altering relief of finally discovering the real cause.

She made herself a promise to become the practitioner who asks the questions no one else thinks to ask.

The one who digs deeper.

The one who refuses to accept "It's just IBS" as a final answer.

The Biome Collective approach

Today, Laura’s clinical philosophy is shaped by both her professional expertise and her lived experience. She understands, on the deepest level, that:

  • IBS is not a diagnosis. It’s a sign of underlying imbalance.

  • No two digestive cases are the same.

  • Real healing requires personalised investigation, not generic protocols.

The Biome Collective approach centres on uncovering the actual drivers of digestive symptoms: from microbiome imbalances to SIBO, food intolerances, and more.

We help connect the many invisible threads that tie gut health to whole-body health.

Today

Today, Laura is recognised as a leader in gut health. She is the founder of The Biome Collective clinic where her values of integrity, compassion and evidence-based practice are at the hear of everything her team delivers.

Laura continues to speak at conferences, mentor practitioners and, most importantly, walk beside people who want to find answers to their own health concerns.

Laura’s commitment comes from lived experience. It started with uncovering her own diagnosis and it continues with each person who trusts her team to uncover theirs.
